ABOUT DAN RIVER GRAND PRIX

Dan River Grand Prix is an exciting indoor kart racing center in Danville, Virginia. We are less than 20 minutes the Virginia International Raceway and less than an hour from both Martinsville and South Boston Speedways. We have 76,500 square feet space with a 43,000 square foot, nearly 1/4 mile karting track. We are located on the bank of the Dan River on US-58 (Riverside Drive) at the intersection of US-58 and US-29/VA-86 in Danville Plaza.

Dan River Grand Prix offers a racing experience for families and adult drivers using our emissions-free electric competition karts. No gasoline or oil products are used to power the karts, so our center is clean, pollution free, and we are a "green" entertainment destination. The karts are suitable for drivers 8 years or older who over 54" tall, and drivers who are 50 pounds to 450 pounds! Safety features of our karts include rollover bars, seatbelts and a remote control shut-off system that is capable of stopping all karts at once.

Additional amenities, including drinks and snacks, video games, sporting events displayed on a large HD TV and a gift shop. We can also host birthday parties, church events, family reunions and corporate outings.

Drivers can pay by the karting race or buy hour long or all day passes. Adult racing leagues and other exciting racing programs are also offered throughout the year.
