SAFETY
Dan River Grand Prix places your safety, and the safety of your fellow racers and our staff, above all else. Drivers meeting our age, height and weight requirements are welcome and encouraged to race with us. Kart racing is a no-contact sport. Bumping and blocking is not tolerated. Sandbagging (driving slowly and waiting on other racers) is also not allowed. If you don't have a free space to pass, do not force your way past. Swearing and rude behavior of any kind is not allowed.
Kart racing is a sport and like all sports, good sportsmanship is demanded of true winners.
Before you race with us, you are required to sign a waiver stating you they have read and agree to the terms and conditions of Dan River Grand Prix, our racing conduct rules and that you agree to race safely. If you are 15 years or younger, or you do not have a valid photo ID that shows your date of birth, a parent or guardian MUST sign a minor participation waiver for you before you can race.
